Life Insurance Scheme for Financial Support
The life insurance scheme is designed to provide financial assistance to families in case of death at government hospitals or facilities under the health card network. The scheme offers compensation of Rs 1 million for individuals under 60 and Rs 500,000 for those over 60. Islamic Takaful Insurance Company
As part of its initiatives, the government plans to launch a provincial Islamic Takafal Insurance Company within three months. Lot-2 will add a 120-kilometer line from Bahrain to the Chakdara Grid Station.
Promoting Tourism and Home Stay Tourism
To boost tourism, the government will launch a Home Stay Tourism scheme starting January 1, 2025. This initiative will encourage locals to provide affordable accommodations for tourists, promoting cultural exchange and economic benefits for the region. The solarisation of government buildings is also being expedited to make infrastructure more sustainable.
Debt Management and Trade Corridor
The establishment of a Debt Management Fund is another key project. It is expected to generate Rs 400 to 500 million in monthly revenue for the provincial government. Additionally, Rs 2 billion has been allocated to acquire land for the Peshawar-Dera Ismail Khan motorway. The government is also focusing on the Trade Corridor Hub project to strengthen regional trade networks.
